Considering what some in your world are proposing, such as augmenting soldiers with robotic bodies so that they can create yet more devastation, or ‘downloading the soul’ into android or cyborg ‘brains;’ wishing to create artificial intelligence with the optimistic assumption that such intelligence would be automatically benign, instead of entirely plastic in the sense of being unable to differentiate between benign and malign intentions, effects, results, and consequences, Humanity definitely needs ‘softer’ things. And if by ‘soft’ you might imagine I am speaking of ‘feminine’ and ‘female,’ in the main you would be right. Women, after all, have to consider others: their effect upon others; others’ effects upon them; how Life must be balanced in order to continue; how to give to others and hold them with love simply because they know that raising a child well demands all of this. If you wish to put it into cold scientific terms, those women who acted selfishly and overlooked their children did not procreate much. But even with that one difference (and there are many more), women must be and are more open to understanding things that are different than they. It takes a skilled man to notice that a three-year-old child needs things that are different from what a 10-yr-old needs. But most women, if asked, would say, ‘Of course!’ And when you add spiritual awareness, even spiritual enlightenment, to this natural wisdom, you have the potential for a truly superlative human being.
