The nature of this play is discovery, creativity, trial and error, and an opportunity to understand and create beauty. When Shakespeare said, “All the world’s a stage; and all the men and women merely players; they have their exits and entrances; and one man may play many parts… “ he was speaking with incredible precision, although in these times we might say, ’it’s all a movie.’ Our human souls fling themselves out gleefully into Time and Space with a tremendous burst of delight: “what story will we tell ourselves now? Who gets to play the villain this time, and who is the hero or heroine?”And how good are our special effects going to be in the Illusion that is “Reality?”
